This week, we took another look at motion by using fast shutter speeds to capture individual moments. This was a fun exercise where we tried to capture levitation. I have to say thanks to Joe and Zach for being such helpful subjects.

Photos With Motion
This week I spent a lot of time making motion blurs. There was a lot of pushing forward, back pulling, panning, swinging, and shaking the camera. The ending result was many pictures with certain blurred aspects. This wasn't too hard since I was used to longer exposures (because of the light painting), but a little harder since I had to shoot in the daylight and master the slight delay of the cameras.

Silhouettes
This week, the class was tasked to take pictures of silhouettes. We did this by changing the exposure compensation settings to blacken out the object we are trying to silhouette. Although this was somewhat challenging at first, it did become much easier. By the end of the week, it was much easier to find places where silhouettes could be shot and altered using photoshop.
